  Texoma Medical Center, a 378-bed acute care facility has been providing quality health care to the residents of North Texas and Southern Oklahoma since 1965. Our main campus is located in Denison, Texas, approximately one hour north of the Dallas/Fort Worth area and just south of the Texas/Oklahoma border. Job summary
  To provide therapeutic modes of respiratory treatments to all patients. In addition to duties of a certified respiratory therapist, may perform advanced diagnostic testing, patient assessment, and intervention. Serves as a preceptor for other therapists.
Essential job responsibilities
  Demonstrates accurate assessment skills. Follows physician orders and implements therapist driven protocols. Evaluates and documents patient's response to care provided. Take assignments in critical care areas. Interpret blood gasses and consult with physician. Advocate for the patient and communicate professionally and effectively with every member of the care team. Evaluates patient responses; Documentation of clinical skills. May act as team lead, as needed.
  A minimum of an associate degree from a respiratory therapy education program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation for Respiratory Care unless licensure was obtained prior to November 11, 2009.
  One year full time or three years part time experience in acute care setting preferred.
