Job summary
  Ascension Seton Medical Center-Austin has a wonderful opportunity for Full-time Days and Nights Registered Respiratory Therapist! Make an immediate impact in the lives of patients and communities we serve when you join our compassionate respiratory therapy team.

** We are offering a $15,000 Sign-On Bonus (2 yr commitment) and New Grads are Welcome! **

Shifts: Days or Nights (12 hr shifts) some weekends, holidays and on call coverage
Days: 7am – 7pm
Nights: 7pm – 7am

Essential job responsibilities
  Provide evaluation of and care for patients with respiratory insufficiencies.
-Assess patient for appropriate type and frequency of treatment and develop a plan of care based on diagnosis.
-Implement and monitor patient care plan and equipment. Monitor, record and communicate patient condition. Perform advanced respiratory care modalities.
-Evaluate respiratory practice, administration of medications, and treatment based on patient outcome.
-Educate the patient and family about the health condition and provide information about community support groups and other available programs.
Respond to emergency resuscitation team code.
  Degree in Respiratory Therapy w/ NBRC RRT & TMB RCP Required
